Marta is an Assistant Professor (Profesora Ayudante Doctora) at the Department of Commercial Law of Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain). She has received her Ph.D. from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2013), a LL.M. in Business Insolvency from Universidad San Pablo-CEU (2010) and a LL.M in Business Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2009). She is admitted to the bar in Madrid and has been a lawyer at Baker & McKenzie and a freelance advisor for private and public institutions on insolvency proceedings. Marta’s research awarded her several scholarships. She focuses on insolvency, restructuring and corporate law. She is a member of the Spanish Association of Insolvency Law (AEDIN).
